The operating method

One connected week.
Clear ownership.

The carrier sets the boundaries. Lanehouse runs the dispatch desk within them.

Plan the week. Account for every move.
Before booking

Plan around your trucks.

We start with truck locations, driver availability, equipment, lanes and home time.

We agree on rates, booking permissions and who to contact when confirmation is needed.

At the desk

Find the load. Negotiate the rate.

We compare the rate, empty miles, appointments, delivery location and options for the next load.

We book within your agreed instructions. If terms fall outside them or availability needs checking, we confirm with your designated contact before committing.

On the road

Coordinate the load. Plan the next.

We handle broker updates and dispatch coordination within the agreed service scope.

As appointments and available freight change, we update the plan and keep you informed.

Across the week

Turn this week into the next plan.

We bring together completed loads, gross revenue, loaded and empty miles, and dispatch fees.

We use the week’s results to plan lanes, truck availability and the next pickups.

Know what was booked.
Know how we are paid.

Final rates and supporting documentation are visible for every booked load. Lanehouse charges one agreed dispatch percentage. Your service agreement defines that percentage and the revenue it applies to before booking begins. Our compensation is the agreed dispatch fee.

You keep control of drivers, equipment, lanes and home time. Before service begins, we agree on booking permissions, contact roles and when confirmation is required.

What a transparent load record should show

Fit before volume

Not every fleet needs the same desk.

We work with established dry van, flatbed and reefer carriers with 1–20 trucks, freight booked on the spot market and reliable drivers and equipment. Twelve or more months of authority is preferred.

The relationship works best when the owner values planning, visibility and consistent operating standards. Established one-truck owner-operators are included. Fit depends on operating history, dependable equipment and clear driver expectations.
